About
Us
Codesville started back in August
of 1998 at www.expage.com, a free host for web pages.
There I learned how to make a web page with out HTML. While it was still
there, I was learning HTML and Javascript. When I had finished learning those
computer languages, I moved Codesville to www.geocities.com
and used HTML and Javascript to make my site. After about a month or so, I had
learned a lot about designing web sites, and decided to try and use Front Page 98 to make
my sites. I made a great site and moved it to www.fortunecity.com
around October 12, 1998. There, Codesville prospered and at one time got up to 964
visitors per day! Then, a terrible misfortune happened, and Codesville was wiped
from the net...
Four months later, in Feburary of
1999, I started working on Codesville again after months of studying different net
languages like CGI scripting, Pearl Script, Apple Script, PHP3, and DHTML. I moved
Codesville to www.hypermart.net and there I got a
friend of mine http://wdesigns.hypermart.net
to design a website for me. I ordered the Codesville.com domain name and became
active again.
Well, in March of 2000, I started
this design, and have it hosted at good ole www.fortunecity.com
again! Hopefully, there will be no more misfortunes again and hopefully
Codesville.com will be successful. |
